question guys , if u had around 20k UV a day redirected to you from a typo domain of google , whats the best way to convert that traffic and profit from it ? you can redirect how ever you want , to a web site u will build or to affiliate site or whatever u want , bare in mind - those are people who wanted to go to google and had a typo so the bounce rate will be high , so another thing is you want to keep that bounce rate as low As possible

will be happy to hear your ideas

    thanks !

I think you should make a site similar to the one you are getting traffic of then place the ads on it and use it like that.

depends on what you are willing to do with your new domain.... blog about something, that will make your visitors loyal, if your content is good

I doubt on those typo visitors will come with buying motive anyway. I would give a go with some related affiliate products plus adsense. It could help generate revenues in both way, thus you can track which one is better too.

Try selling the domain back to the company with the right spelling?

    Or, Adsense for domains?

Join an affiliate that sells insurance products and make a sales page for the same at this domain... with a starting line something like this...

'Accidents do happen and can take you to undesired places.... get insured in time to guard yourself against such unforeseen expenses!' :)

if it's just a slight typo of the name google chances are google will take i away from you at sometime anyway.

They would not let you have adsense on it or turn it into a search engine.

I bet you can get a pretty penny selling it to their competitor.

You could make it into a directory. The traffic you are getting are searchers in general, so some may use the directory if it has quality content.

Do you own the domain that gets the typo traffic? or do you just get some/all of the traffic redirected to your site?

I would probably add AFS (adsense for search) to the page (no logo or anything else) and make money from the searches.
To bring down the bounce rate, set the AFS up to "Open results within my own site", then have a new page for the results (EG example.com/results.html). Add the results code to the results page, but also add a search box to it as well like this
    Good luck

    Cheers

Not sure if AFD would pay for redirected traffic, afaik they only pay for direct type in traffic.

You can put an adsense or go for some related affiliate programs.
