What to do with a PR 6 Domain

Being pretty new to online business and websites, i am wondering what to do with a Domain that i bought. I bought the domain along with a site that i had planned to develop.

Lucky for me it has picked up PR6, but unfortunately the concept of the site sucks. Developing the current content is not an option so me, so i have been thinking about what i can do with the PR6 Domain...

Should i get a linksizzler script and sell keyword links on it, Should i just sell textlinks, should i develop other content on it?

If you have any ideas, id be very happy to hear them!

( Ps. i was thinking about this linksizzler script: some of them have 500 outgoing links.. Why would you buy a link on a site like that anyway? )

 

This does bring in a few pennies, but it's not how webmasters generally make the big bucks from a PR6 site.

Are you SURE the concept of the site sucks?

Because a PR6 site will generally rank for anything you write about. I'd love for some of my smaller sites to be PR6.

Basically, a PR6 has far more power than merely selling links. Get creative.

start a phpld would work great, surely u can sell text links, but keep promoting the website , make sure its strong to maintain the pr or even go higher

 

Ya, i'd personally open a directory with paid submissions, and sell links. But don't let it goto waste, keep working on links etc

 

For every site that has a concept that sucks there's a related keyword that can pull in mega traffic or mega EPC, or both.

 

Without knowing the domain its' difficult for anyone to give you ideas on how you can earn an income from it. Whilst a PR6 is great, Google had a little fit recently and gave some newish domains high PR, and it could be that it reduces when the next "big" update comes along - so get in there quick!

How to create and manage an AdWords directory like www.calendar.com or http://www.jordanfoster.com/ without having to lease out your site to a domain parking service?

Create a site with a forum, sell links and products for other companies. Basically i would suggest making it as social as possible

 

Id like at text links and a directory for immediate revenue, but you still need to do something to maintain it...and with a pure directory you might struggle. If the domain is kind of abstract then you can really go with anything, but make sure its something text rich, and off course keep getting backlinks so its stays at pr6..or even improves.

 

If none of the above options work you can always give it to me for free.


Just kidding, just make sure you do enough to keep it a PR6. I suggest submitting it to a ton of directories. A few good paid ones maybe.

 

That's a nice PR . As mentioned above, creating a web directory out of it would be a great idea.

 

PR6,Oh,that's my dream.. You could set up a paid directory(I recommend you use PHPLD script),sell some links on the index ,I think you could get $1k in 1 or 2 days by doing that.

 

I suggest you develop the content and sell links on text-link-ads or similar link sale exchanges.

i would open a directory also.and i think you should check the backlinks to see how stable the PR is.
