What to do with a 1U server

    Hello Fellow DPers,
    I Have this 1U server that is just lying around, what should I do with it?
    Open to all suggestions other then giving it away for free, and throwing it in the ocean :p.

    a 1U server is a server that takes up one unit of rackspace. It's the thinest type companies make, unless ofcourse blades are thinner.

    It all depends on the spec and if it's worth coloing it. You could just use it as a backup server for all your data if it's old.

    Well, if I were you, I'd have colocated it and leased to some friend at DP!
    You'd have made use of the equipment, helped a friend at DP and made a little profit too every month.
