What to do with $30?

Hi!
I'm a tutor and i just earned $30 by tutoring a guy for a week in Discrete Mathematics (Computer Science). He will pay me $120 in the month to come (4 weeks x $30 each). Now what do I do of this money? What should I invest it in and make more?
I liked this idea. I gave the student classes on skype and he was very much satisfied. After a month or so, I can tutor some 6-7 people (college only please) I can teach engineering subjects with ease. How do I start such a business?

Start a website and offer your services on it. I would wait until you have the $120 then you can put up a site where people can pay for your services there. Then you can start advertising your site in college newspapers.

Starting a site will only cost you about $20 if you set it up yourself, which you can with a bit of research. Then use some more money to post either a print ad or a classified ad in college newspapers. If you do it via Skype than there is no limit to where your customers are. You could also try advertising with Craigslist, they are free.

 

I can get you a full year of hosting a website and a domain for around $30. That would give you plenty of time to get started and slowly build up traffic and recognition. You would also most likely want your students to be able to grade your performance and leave feedback on your site.

Spend the money. Offer you service and if you find at least 50 interested students then could start seriously thinking at your business.

For now save your well earned $30 and think of an appropriate domain name which best suits your business idea then immediately purchase it. You can easily sign up for Wordpress or Blogger site for free. Once you have your domain name chosen and purchased, you can redirect your WordPress or Blogger site to your domain name servers after you've purchased hosting from reputable Hosting provider (i.e. Amazon S3 or HostGator).

 

i'd invest in hosting domain too, have a look at wordpress, you could talk about your tutoring service, and also get testimonials from students.
