What to do with 2000 uniques a day?

Sup all, i currently get around 2000-2300 uniques a day to my site. Right now im using adsense and making about 13-20$ a day. Id like to turn the clicks into more. FOr the last 7 days im averaging 33 clicks a day and $20 a day. Anyone have any input for what i can be doing to make more. No adult stuff either. THanks in advance!!!

 

For 2K uniques, $20 appears small. Consider optimising your color palettes and the keywords.Also, you may need to look at the keywords people are using to reach you. When you check up with Google, do they fetch so much? If not, then you can obtain variations of them that do give higher CPC.

 

How do you mean fetch?

 

Improve your CTR or experiment with other programs eg affiliate. If your website is about... i don't know... mobile phones, find a a mobile phone affiliate program.

 

Seems low - assess your traffic and offer CPA and/or affiliate products to augment income

Yeah ive tried affiliates just never had great luck with them. I always felt adsense was safe cause i could see how much i was making instantly.

 

Are you using pay per impression? You can get some money off that if you add it onto the site.. though it doesn't pay as much. Selling links could work for you aswell.

Expand your horizons beyond adsense. Put CPM ads on there. Use affiliate companies like Clickbank. It all depends on how many ads you want on your site. Do you think pop-unders would annoy your visitors. If not, put them. What about interstitials? Maybe one of those for every 5th visitor when they try to go to a different page on your site. Consider running adbrite (which can run in conjunction with adsense...ofcourse that has a famously low payout). You can put Chitika and Kontrera on their too. You should decide how much of a whore you want to be, ha.

You can most likely increase CTR just my moving your 336x280 block from the right to the center.

 

i think you should also make the list of this traffic.... so you can sell affiliate and own products...real profits

 

You must have a fairly high cpc to betting $20 from around 30 clicks or so.

 

Imagine if you were a store owner at a mall. 2,000 people walk into your store at least 5 feet. Are you making sales, or are you just a museum? Think about what you want them to do, and how you can encourage them do it.

 

That's gross, but very smart! I'm sure the "zit medicine" CPC is pretty high. Try adding other income streams. I'm a big fan of Text-Link-Ads. Also, you can definitely optimize that theme to yield better adsense results.

try signing up for cj.com as the commissions are a lot better than adsense.

 

Personally I think you can make a lot more money from that volume of visitors just be tweaking the position of your adsense blocks and by better integration within the site. If your primary focus is generating (fast) revenue from this large number of visitors a day you maybe ought to look for a made for adsense template. For example take a look at my site at:

I massive proportion of my visitors to the site click on the adsense ad's because they are so prominent and in the sort of positions where you would normally find navigation elements etc. This particular template converts about 50% of visitors into adsense clickers. Unfortunately I don't get anywhere near the number of visitors that you do, otherwise I'd estimate I'd be making at least $70-100 a day.
