I don't think you can change coontent of the page just because you have been smart priced. Can you imagine doing the to a big site. Its a waaste of time. Perhaps the bet solution is to create other pages that will lead to more conversion and, of course, wait it out as well.
If you have one Adsense account, you can not do anything. There was a discussion about opening several AdSense accounts to newly registered LTDs/LLCs. Thus you can decrease the effect of smart pricing. It works perfectly for me.
The main reason is the clicks aren't converting for the advertisers. If your site has relevent ads, you need targetted traffic as well to convert.
My sites have high PR, don't know if it helps but for the past 30 days, I have been smart priced for 25 days straight, next 3 days goes away and now started again, probably another 25 days.
Conversion is the reason, but surely not the main. Simply because not all AdWords advertisers use conversion tracking.
I agree that not all advertisers uses conversion tracking. However, the thread starter is referring to smart pricing and the main cause is low conversion. Some info about smart pricing
i was smart priced since feb/march . then I removed the ads from one site, and wait for about 4 months. in july I put the ads again (just one ads per page), and seems now i'm not smart priced
You used channels, saw that site was performing poorly and removed? But all my sites are smart priced??
I was hit by smart pricing yesterday, I knew it was inevitable, therefore have been watching like a hawk it reflected exactly peoples descriptions all of a sudden I started earning low but with more clicks on 2 of my sites. I suddenly realised my 2 big earners clicks went from around 1.52 to 12. I removed all ads from both the other sites, it now seems to have gone back up in 24 hours... so it appears mutiple accounts would solve it registered correctly.
