    Hi,

I am having 40% of return visitors through adwords PPC on an average. Is it that the competitors are doing this or just in general everyone is having such experience? What can I do about this, because this is costing me serious $$$.

If you are running a low budget campaign then chances are that there are your competitors. If your budget is high then there is only a slight chance of your competitors clicking 40% of your ads and not showing up in the google fraud radar

I look at my traffic logs and see the type of visitors coming from adwords. I use GA for this. With other traffic analyzers it would be difficult.

My monthly budget is not running in thousands but in hundreds, so I am not sure if it is big budget or small budget for Google to catch it in their radar!!!

I think you might want to contact google on this issue. It's only fair to think that they might have an interest to help you out here

Do they buy something when they return or not?

If 10% of them spend some money when they return, then it is better to have them back via PPC then to do not have them at all.

What about returning visitors at all? Do you have any returning visitors excluding these commeing from PPC?

I don't think he'd be concerned if they did buy something...

You could always cookie incoming visitors and then, through a little crafty php, show them something different the second, third, etc time around.
