What to do when a PDF outranks the HTML page?

    I am running into a dilemma where the product PDF is ranking high at #3, and the actual product HTML page is not ranking well for the keyword. How would you as an SEO approach this situation?

    Watermark the PDF with the URL?
    Exclude the PDF directory from inclusion?
