What to do to rank well for a competitive keyword?

    What do you do to rank well for a competitive keyword? Do you write article for that competitive keyword and link back to your own site in order to get relevant backlink from article directories? But is this mean we are just competing against ourself for that keyword?

    How do you get relevant backlinks? If your site is about cooking and want to rank well for cooking, if we get backlinks from food's site is this mean relevant?

    Which links building method will you use for your site to obtain the competitive keyword?

    Well if you are just a step behind your competitors - it is not always the best strategy. You could get simple answers to your questions - but the best advice would probably be - get an seo book. It is of great use to the newbies in seo

    I don't understand what is deep keywords research. Is it mean find the keywords that is less competitor? I am asking what should we do to rank well for a competitive keyword. But you are asking me to do deep keyword research? How about analyze Exact Keywords? I don't really understand how to analyze it. Ok, for the competitor i have did some research on them, but now i want to know that what should i do to overtake them? Any good suggestion? How do we build relevant backlinks to our site?

    try social bookmarking and article submission only easy way to get page rank and keyword ranking.

    also do directory submission for targeted keywords.
