We have a website http://www.projistics.com, it’s a 5 year old website and was optimized for the keyword “Project management software” in the past. 3 months before we have redesigned it and started optimize it for the bug tracker and bug tracking software keywords.

Now after 3 months, our website appears on Google only on one keyword (Bug Tracker) at 174 rank (we are doing well in Yahoo and MSN)Rest all keywords used in the title are not showing up on Google's results. On the contrary, our website appears on Google.co.in rank 15 when searched with old keyword ' Project Management' alongwith its old description. While optimizing it then for Project Management we had submitted it on Dmoz and now Google.co.in shows same title and description as submitted to Dmoz. We have tried using Noodp tage too but it has not helped us. Request for suggestions on this problem. It is critical to us.

This is a stab in the dark; but it might be worth contacting DMOZ about your listing? See if they'll change it, I guess.

I have noticed with my sites, that if you change your title and description, it takes quite some time to see that updated in the SERPS.

    Hope that helps,

    Fredi.

Although Google is notorious for not revealing all backlinks, a check using the Google toolbar shows 26 backlinks and that you have a page rank of about 4. I also see that Google lists 17 pages.

Hmm. Have you used any of the usual promotion tactics, such as submitting to high PR directories, using and submitting your RSS feeds to the RSS engines? It didn't appear that you have a site map--I would suggest setting up a site map and also a site directory. The purpose of the directory is to encourage other sites with search engine trust to link to you. There are also many high PR social sites of professional/technical orientation that would provide valuable backlinking. I would also suggest publishing in reputable online journals and blogs that relate to your site and leaving an appropriate backlink.

Sorry to be brief. I hope this helps a bit.

    Best,
    Evan
