You know, I like this idea as an old telemarketer. Using a basic script and following the law, you could make 15 to 20 contacts per hour. If you've got a great idea, you could offer to share it with them over email or you could merely share a website and hope they visit it. You could cold call right out of the phone book. It'd work for business or consumer marketing. It's free and you could promote anything and everything. 100 calls would probably yield 30 to 40 surveys and maybe half the people would check out your site. A good worker on this could see conversions to generate revenue of $6 to $10 an hour. I see a good outsourcing opportunity. I could imagine promoting an email submit over it......
