I have sort of re set up my site (see link in my profile <--)

I have 7 days free, what shall I concentrate on?
I was thinking of writing one review/article a day
Get 2-5 good links per day (i'll email other related sites and ask to swap affiliate links)

I also need writers - wheres the best place to look for them?
    Thanks
BTW - no money really to spend. I can spend a little (upto say $10) but don't really want to :p

Submit to directories and article websites, this is free and is a really good starting block to an SEO campaign.

You write an article and submit it to an article directory. They publish it and include a link to your website.

The link is surrounded by good, relevant content and search engines love it.

Its a great way to promote your site for free!

post it on ur site first, let the engines index it, leave it a couple of weeks then submit to article directories.

One thing I would do 1st is change your *FavIcon* and make it the same colors as your main banner.... You need consistentsy with the look of a site...

    Totally forgot about that!
I've made a quick one, but tbh its just a bmp with a .ico extension.
I need to get a better one, and a real .ico creator lol

Here it is... slightly more related to the sites layout than the previous one, but still a bit out of place ... [IMG] (Works in FF, not sure if it'll work in IE)

Thanks. I managed to convert the 16x16 bitmap to a ico file, using ifranview. I'll try out that program you linked to tomorrow, and see if i can put a 32x32 icon as well as a 16x16 icon together in one icon file. :)

Submitting to sites is so boring. Gotta get back to it now. lol.

Can you add a user rating mod to your CMS? I like review sites, but IMO the best ones are ones that not only give the skinny about a product but also let readers toss in their two cents. Eventually all those pennies add up, and you end up with a really valuable review. ;)

Nope. And I don't really want that at the moment, as I think that a review with 0 or just 1 comments/rating etc makes it look like the site doesn't get much traffic. Which mine doesn't. So i want to try and hide that fact lol! I might consider article (review) rating though
