Hello Dear Friends ! Suppose you have a great idea and you want somehow to protect it ! Are there any websites where you pay for a patent and if someone uses that idea then you have rights to get his website !? How can they understand whether the idea is unique or not !? Thanks Olgi
You could perhaps put a patent on it. But in reality small countries do not really deal with internet abuse properly so in essense you will never be able to "own" an idea on the internet. On the other hand, teh good news is that almost always a successful original idea that is well implimented will always succeed. Take eBay for example. The idea... an online auction site. There are several online now, but eBay will always be the most successful. Another example, YouTube... An online community driven video site. There are ltos online today these days... a handfull have succeeded, but none even come close to YouTube's success. Take your idea... impliment it before letting others know about it. Market your website properly. Things will fall into the right place if you have a good idea. If you are successful enough others might try to copy your idea, but you will still gain the success you are looking for i'm sure.
