What to do if content is copyied by others ???

    Is there any legal action we can take if our content is copied by others if we found the site which site had copied our content how to protect our copyright matter on our site just by putting copyright logo its not enough ....

    This is quite common and has been posted here in DP hundreds of times so I won't get into it. Not trying to push you off here, but many of those posts have some great info that I can't remember:))

    But I do remember that the first thing you should do is to contact the site/individual and politely ask those thieves to remove your content. Next is to try and find out the hosting company of the site in violation and report the violaters to the hosting company.

    Now you see why I said you would be better of searching the forum?:))

    The easiest way to handle plagiarism is to FAX search engines a DMCA. http://bit.ly/13w6Rd They'll remove the offending sites from their index.
