    thanks for the valuable input.
It's been 16 years at DP; and this community is still UNMATCHed. People are really helpful, one can get technical answer by experienced professional.

as you have mentioned Domain Name, then
    1) how to judge the domain name?
    2) suffix and prefix what is valuable?
    3) how to research that this word is valuable as suffix and prefix?

Use Namebio website to check for the price of each keyword .. also you can use automated appraisal tools like Estibot to know how much could a name sell for, also I use Nameworth.com to appraise the name, then after many trials you'll develop a sense/taste for domain names.

I would advise looking at the domain names history at archive.org, what ever you buy or drop catch the history comes with it good or bad.

I’m an avid domain investor and website developer and have learned a little research goes a long way.

Buying an expired or old domain can be a strategic move for your online presence, but it's essential to perform thorough due diligence to ensure you're making a wise investment. Here are important factors to consider and checks to perform when planning to buy an expired or old domain:

    1. Domain History: Research the domain's history using tools like Archive.org to see how the website was used in the past. Look for any potential red flags such as spammy content, unethical practices, or previous penalties from search engines.

    2. Domain Authority and Backlinks: Check the domain's authority using metrics like Domain Authority (DA) or Trust Flow. Also, examine the quality and quantity of backlinks using tools like Ahrefs or Moz. High-quality, relevant backlinks can positively impact your SEO efforts.

    3. Link Profile Quality: Analyze the backlink profile for any signs of spammy or low-quality links. If the domain has a history of poor link building practices, it could negatively impact your own SEO efforts.

    4. Penalties and Blacklisting: Check if the domain is penalized or blacklisted by search engines due to previous violations of their guidelines. You can use tools like Google Search Console and online penalty-checking tools to identify any issues.

    5. Content Relevance: Evaluate the previous content on the domain to ensure it's relevant to your intended use. Relevance can affect user experience and SEO rankings.

    6. Domain Age and Authority: Older domains tend to have more authority in search engines. Consider the age of the domain and how that might impact your SEO efforts.

    7. Branding and Trademarks: Verify that the domain name doesn't infringe on any trademarks or copyrights. You wouldn't want legal issues arising from using a domain that belongs to someone else's brand.

    8. Search Engine Visibility: Check if the domain is indexed in search engines. If it's not indexed, it could indicate a potential problem.

    9. Domain Ownership and Transfer: Ensure that the domain is legally available for sale and that the transfer process can be completed smoothly. Be cautious of potential scams or fraudulent sellers.

    10. Domain Registrar and Expiry Date: Check which registrar the domain is registered with and its expiry date. Ensure you can transfer the domain to your preferred registrar and that the domain is not close to expiring.

    11. Domain Metrics: Utilize tools like Majestic, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to gather metrics such as Trust Flow, Citation Flow, and referring domains. These metrics can provide insights into the domain's overall quality.

    12. Niche Relevance: Consider how relevant the domain is to your niche or industry. A domain that aligns well with your content and offerings can help improve SEO and user trust.

    13. Social Media Presence: Check if the domain has associated social media profiles and whether they align with your brand's social media strategy.

    14. Future Plans: Have a clear plan for how you intend to use the domain. Whether it's for a new website, redirecting to an existing site, or other purposes, a clear strategy will guide your decision.

    15. Price and Negotiation: Negotiate the price with the seller, and be prepared to walk away if the price is unreasonable or if the domain has significant issues.
By carefully considering these factors and performing thorough checks, you can make an informed decision when buying an expired or old domain. This due diligence will help you avoid potential pitfalls and maximize the benefits of your investment.
