Hello, I have a site about online safety and I would like to sell spy ware and antivirus software on it. I saw that ClickBank has some interesting software, I am sure CJ has it to. My question is which affiliate program to choose? CJ or ClickBank? Or something else?? What do you recommend? Does any of those pay to Epassporte? Thanks for your opinions/suggestions.
paydotcom.com is free and the best way to see if your product is going to sell well or not! and if it dose then move to cj thats my 2 cents
I don't think my question was understood correctly. I am a publisher looking to sell other peoples products. I don't have any products myself.
okey! if you are a publisher then you have something of your one to publish! So what your trying to say is that you are a affiliate looking to sell other peoples products. To answer this question: The best thing to sell is something your interested in your self so you can write good articles and blogs about the product your trying to sell! Then I would sign up with clickbank,cj and paydotcom and find products that interest you so the selling won't be as hard. Don't do the mistake of thinking you only have to use one affiliate network as an affiliate. Find out what are the strongest networks and sign up for them all! and then find a product you want to sell. later,
You need to know which affiliate program has the highest conversion rate. visit all the affiliate programs, and then check their sales page and ask yourself: "Would I buy something from this page?" Foe clickbank products, you can send an email to the owner, and he will let you review it (it works, just try). As for CJ, you need to check the 3 months EPC. Also, you need to monitor the adwords ads on Google first page. Check this for one month, and you will find the products which are winners. If an adwords ad is there for one month in a row, the affiliate is making profits, and you can take your share of the pie!
Clickbank products generally have higher commissions than CJ. You have to test it for yourself to see if they convert for you. Not sure about Epassporte. I've been getting paid by check from both. In general, the antivirus/spyware market is extremely competitive.
That is such an excellent piece of advice. So elegant in its simplicity. Too often people rush on to the scene looking to dive into the world of affiliate marketing without doing the proper and necessary research. As a newbie to the affiliate world, I thank you for this comment!
Frank S nailed it. Chances are you are going to make a bigger percentage selling clickbank products than CJ. (CJ charges like 30% of what publishers payout so they tend not to pay as much). However, Clickbank also offers a very generous return policy. And in order to cover any future returns they put 10% of your earnings in hold. Between the 10% and the refunds, you will likely find out that your earns are only about 80 - 85% of what you sell. In which case you might be making the same commission with a different product from CJ. Regardless, it comes down to the offers that convert the best, so test and then test some more. Good Luck...
I think if you'll choose a product carefully from Click Bank (not a competitive product), you'll do okay, likely a lot better than CJ.
