Due to the heatsink and watt restriction, laptop don't have high performance hardware as desktop computers . I prefer desktop .
Personally i prefer a laptop, however i run some pretty powerful and resource intensive software, so i tend to use the laptop just for the lighter stuff, like going out to clients, browsing the net, etc etc I then save the desktop for my actual work. I guess it depends which you prefer, and what you intend on using the machine for.
If you use PC with with one place then better to buy Desktop.... If you use PC with you with different places then better for you to buy Laptop....
I suggest you to go for an HP or HCL/Toshiba laptop, since if you compare the price of both it will have very less difference as laptop is very small in size and also require very small space it wil easy for you to carry it around. Now a days laptop comes with sattellite reception technlogy wireless internet will not be a problem.
Laptop if it is for working, the only real reason why I would buy a desktop is for its gaming capabilities
If you go to cafe's, of course a laptop, however you can buy a nice high-end desktop and then buy around a $400 dollar netbook. Netbooks are great to surf the internet and check your e-mail, and they are extremely light-weight and small!
still desktop is better one ..........laptop is only if you want to use it during travel or similar kind of things.. desktop is more producing in terms of work..one can work more hrs on desktop rather then laptop
desktops just last longer and are more reliable in my opinion but of course laptops are more fun, it all depends what they are used for
ok well if you have enough money then buy a laptop and when u wanna buy a laptop b sure to buy a good one.so no worries there. and i suggest to u to buy a laptop.not a pc.but as i said if yu have enough money if not then just go for the pc. buy a sonyvaio laptop>
This may sound lame but I like Dell laptops. The keyboards are solid and the battery life is very good for what I need. Now I don't do any graphics work on my laptop but for anything else it rocks.
I prefer a desktop for more storage and heavy duty use. I wore out my last laptop after 5 years and wished I'd had a desktop the whole time.
