    Hey guys
For those of you who earn your living through the net and have business cards, what did you use for your title?

Did you do the normal "President & CEO" or something like "Web Slave" etc.. I need ideas before I order my business cards.

    i just use my name.
    i tried CEO and President.
decided it really wasn't necessary (for me)

went back to just my name.

BTW: i use www.vistaprint.com << really nice cards, really LOW prices. sometimes even FREE - check it out.

Does anyone know some good UK business card places?

I want full color and nice firm card. Not crappy thin crappy.

I am not sure. I have thgouth about severl.

I think Managing Director. Founder. Owner. Chris Atkinson.

Theres quite a few, but I would probably just like Founder, because it doesnt really make it look too pretentious. Especially if you are only a 1-4 employee company

I've signed several affiliate contracts, usually using title of "Managing Director".

I was just about the say that cheap is a nasty word to use. It doesnt inspire much.. well it doesnt neccessarily infer 'quality' if you get what I mean. But then I realised you are completely branded to the term.

Do you not think that using the word cheap can have negative effects?

I use it rather then affordable, because more people search for 'cheap' then affordable.

I put "Principal & Owner" on mine :)

I tried VistaPrint once, wasn't satisifed. Fortunately I found Overnight Prints (http://overnightprints.com), better print quality, none of that templated crap, and a lower price!

Well, the word "cheap" is something most people look for this day and age. It's a highly used keyword. I have a great reputation for providing quality but at cheap prices, which is exactly what my customers have found.

    Col :)

    Use this format.

    Your Name
President & Founder (use CEO if you dont want President)
    Email:
    Website:
    Tel:
    Address: (if necessary)

i believe business cards with your website logo is another good way of promoting your site. Webmasters deserve that much appreciation and praise. I never wanted to elate myself by putting CEO as community people doesnt want to accept me as CEO in that much small age.

P.S: Your Business logo in the center.

I prefer just a simple 'Internet Consultant'. This way we open ouselves to possible work with anyone. A big title doe snot give us work directly. They sound more like an overhead. Just my thought.

That company he mentioned prints on real thin paper, plus they are smaller than your standard 3.5 by 2 business card. Plus they sneak monthly charges on your credit card. When you checkout, you unknowingly sign up for a club of some sort. I've read this in forums, I'm not sure if it's true or not. Good Luck!
Remember, you get what you pay for and nothing in life is free ;)
