Forum will be better but it'll be better off if you can also pick a niche because there're many discuss forums.

As for live discuss sections, depends if you can back with server resources.

something like wiki, but discuss based..

 

Choose the niche depending on your area of interest and skill...

If you want good traffic, you may choose "General World Issues" where anybody and everybody might want to join in...

As a start, why don't we talk about the prevailing economic situations of various countries as a result of the "economic meltdown", how each individual country is reacting to it, and does anybody have any suggestion on how the ill-effects of the phenomenon could at least be minimized. The global peace and order situation also stands on a delicate balance because of this; what does anyone foresee in the near- and long-term of this all?

Stuffs like these could be relevant areas of concern locally and internationally and am sure everybody would be willing to share thoughts about any subject related to all these.

Hmm, elenojo is a genius. Make it an economic discussion hub type of site. When that eventually disappears, move on to the next biggest issue, and maybe move the forum into economy08.discussonhub.com

I'm sure many will join, especially those who are well aware of what are actually happening even
to the best world economies. I have a feeling that even the economic team of President-elect
Obama, or maybe even he, himself, would probably pitch in, or pick up some ideas from this forum;
after all, everybody's concern is what would be most beneficial for all.

Yes i too second a Forum and current events. Anything generic like movies and music would work really. depends on your interests.

 

I think competing with DP wouldn't be a an easy job, also they got some sharing module too.

I have created a forum at www.worldbiztalk.com have a look I am not getting as much traffic over there, would adwords be worth of advertising for it. ?

 

how can we get moderators for the forums ?
