    I am open for your ideas and would like to hear what suggestions you have for me (what theme to use) etc..?

    then you can install a theme for wordpress.

    You and the singer need to sit down (physically or virtually) and look through a variety of other singers' websites and then other artists' websites. If this singer is popular, it is because s/he knows how to reach his/her target audience of listeners. If you bring your webmaster/coder experience and the singer brings his/her knowledge about the fans, you both should be able to come up with the right website "solution" (i.e. design/theme) that will speak to the singer's art and to the singer's audience. Visiting other successful and not so successful singer's websites should help to spur this creative process. Note that this a very subjective exercise and there is no one right answer. However, if both of you approach this as a fun exercise to pick the perfect deisgn/theme, it should result in a really good product that both of you will have confidence in moving forward. That will matter as much as anything in the months ahead.
