I am just keep getting this emails from something called majon(dot)net, advertising 750,000 links for $39/month. Does anybody know what it is? Any experiance good or bad?
Well Majon is a internet marketing company. Seem to expand there horizon using email marketing techniques as well. Check these two websites i found about majon. I did a little search for Majon Spam and another Majon Spam email.
I agree with you that Spam is not good but after getting so many everyday in Chinese, Russian,... plus all other Viagra and part extension emails, I really don't mind one more or less. What I really like to know is how this thing works and if it is of any use or just another quick get rich scam by people beyond it?
I got the exact same email. It clearly states that the links are on free for all (FFA) pages. I doubt that the links would have much value and I'd be worried about getting a Google penalty for 750K almost instant links on FFA pages. Of course if someone wants to be a guinea pig, and you get several hundred thousand backlinks, please let me know Tony
I wouldn't touch those spam emails if my life depended on it, you'd think that they would make them HTML based so they look more legit, but nope, just plain old text.
Lately I started liking text ones more and more, especially with links to the real articles online. HTML emails often look odd, flashy, get big, get blocked by antispam / virussoftware / html blockers, webmail often makes it look weird.. etc.
I have taken them on and it doesall seem like crap. Lets see what happens over the next couple of weeks......... ukmp3.co.uk ( oh and this was done after my recent *drop* in google )
The send them as text emails because a lot of webmasters and server admin don't use html emailers. HTML emails get filtered to /dev/null with the rest of the crap.
Majon has been around a long time. I would think they'd have gotten shut down by now if all they did was spam and they weren't legit. They must be doing something right.
Majon are mostly devoted to building backlinks and traffic to website. They also currently use about 4 or 5 different emails addresses to send loads of emails which I consistently mark as spam and have taken measures to block them in my control panel. Who are they? I think the question should be 'how did they get hold of my / your / our email address?'
hey ukmp3, How did you get on with Majon? I'm thinking of giving them a go as well and would be interested to know your thoughts? They get alot of bad press but I've also noticed the odd positive experience. Anyway, would be interested to hear from you!
I would like to know of anybody that has actually used them - I get there emails to my gmail account all the time so maybe they have article marketing site I submit to.....
I received the same email. Sounds interesting. I would like to know if anybody uses them, and what their experience is. Free cpanel hosting
