    Nice site! Good idea because people are always searching for this type of thing and sharing with friends over the IMs and whatnot. Have you thought of doing some sort of affiliate program with like funny t-shirts or weird Ebay items or maybe even videos of bloopers or something like that? Could give you some extra income :)

    Excellent! With a catchy name like that and some strategic marketing (such as 'subscribe to an e-mail or IM list to be the FIRST to know about *new* comedy items'... then you could immediately let people know and with some planning, time your releases to keep traffic steady. Over time you could buy rights to various funny animations or have custom ones made. I'd consider perhaps getting a web comic on there, also. Give people a reason to visit daily and they will... if they become loyal visitors then you have a real audience and that's what advertisers want, you know? There's cafepress t-shirts and things, as well... I think a 'What the GIF!?" t-shirt with some freaked out looking guy/girl/character would be a good conversation piece and decent advertising, also. Maybe have a contest where people send in crazy animations/images they've made and can win a prize like that. Perhaps even a 'photochop' contest of some sort...

    Remember, if you build it, they will come..... and you'll profit :D

    Wow, those are some awsome ideas. I really just started it as a fun project, I wish I had more time to put into it, I bet it would really profit :(

    Yeah, just judging by the junk I get (and yours isn't ad-worm-loaded "funny" garbage) I'd wager that TONS of people visit sites like that. It's a solid market and it's not too defined by age because humor is sort of a universally appreciated thing. Things that shock people get around quickly, also. If you schedule things right and maybe get a little help, I bet you could turn it into a profitable site with a little experimental. If you consider it fun, then (to me) it makes sense to get a profit out of it because that allows you to spend more time on it. :cool:
