Its surprising how many people who have euros and pounds come to NY just to shop and go back... lol they spend so much in plane tickets and they still get big savings.

    To get back on topic:

The American people and government spend more money than they earn. This leads to a very high debt, both for the US government and people. This debt will have to be repaid, and the higher the debt, the less other nations expect to get their money back. This leads to a lower value of the dollar vs euro and pound.
Furthermore, the US economy is stalling, and less growth means less value of a currency.

the exchanage rate of £'s to american $'s has never been this low for about 15 years i think.... It's good for shoppers in the UK, not sure if it is affecting the USA shoppers...

Yes that would be great, the topic is rather serious for many of us.
The exchange of everything to US $ has not been so low for quite a while,it's quite bad for a lot of people all over the world that get payed in $ not euros or pounds. On internet for example,we can feel the $ droping each day when we are talking in big sums of money.
What really worries me and I expect nothing less then a good, clean and smart answer is this : is the $ going to get back to it's formal value?will it be even more higher? or is it just the begining of the end for the US $ ?For what I've heard it's not even close to end it's downfall.

That`s what I`m talking about here, still nobody is capable of telling us good reasons for this, many of you probably don`t understand the exact consequences of this.
Did you know that the most powerful banks all over europe are buying $ like mad?millions and millions, and that`s not becase of marketing,in hope it will rise again. They are doing this to help the US $ rise,to higher its value, nobody wants a week $,global economy will have to suffer...
