What the best and most profitable way to sell an eBook?

Hi guys,

I have written a few really good eBooks, some in the health niche, and one in the dating niche. I was wondering if I could get a little advice on how best to monetize them? The obvious choice is probably Clickbank, but I was thinking of selling PLR rights and a limited number of licenses right here on DP. Do you think that could work?

There are so many ways that you can go on with this. If you want to do something like this then you have to think differently.

 

Give advertisement in various websites and if possible try to do this as many as you want.

 

Where to sell would depend a lot on your niche, you said you wrote about health and dating, right. An ebook on health would definitely do better marketing thru sites like digitalpoint, but dating issues, ppl prefer ppl for dating advice. An idea to combined them, could be.....wait for it...Brunch. a campaign to make brunch synonymous with ebooks. for you it might work, brunch is a healthier lunch, and a great date.

 

Why would anyone suggest marketing a Health e-book on a forum for Web Masters & Internet Marketing? C'mon now...that's like a tattoo parlor advertising in the back of Martha Stewarts magazine...

Fitness related communities would be interested in a health eBook. Not Digital Point. DP members want to spend $1.50 on get rich over night schemes.

If you don't have a large loyal following, just be prepared to do some serious marketing!

Just posting your eBook to an affiliate site etc doesn't mean people will find it etc. I would surely think about getting a JV as they will work for you to get the most sales as possible. You will have to give up some to the commissions but if you can't or don't know how to effectively push your eBook, they can help which will get you more profits in the long run.

As for marketing, I would seek niche Communities on social media, forums etc and network and push your eBooks as much as possible without being annoying. The over all goal is to drive eBook sales but everything you post can't be about the eBook or you can get negative results.

I would also think about setting up a blog and will you are growing your online presence you have an avenue where you can continuously push you eBooks to targeted visitors who will be most likely to buy.
