Hi all, I was wondering what technology does iPhone app developers use to develop applications on it.. Could they be done using RoR? Please advise me.. Thanks, Ian
Native iPhone apps are written in Objective-C. Obviously you can also have basic "apps" that really just redirect the user to a webpage via safari. That site can naturally be written in any serverside language you want as long as its outputting suitable HTML for safari to display.
Adobe CS5 will support the ability to compile to the iPhone platform. This is gonna be a great way to work around Apples "no flash" stance / technical inability to get it working.
