What technique you use in driving traffic?

I seem to be the odd ball as far as driving traffic, I am using ppc, ebay classifieds, craigslist, kijiji, Backpage, any relevent blogs with high PR, linking to my homepage. These Digital Point Forums!!!

 

seem like you are using alot of method to drive traffic. Can you do everything in 1 day ?

 

I would be more inclined to use these bookmarking sites if they were easier to use. I down loaded my bookmarks today on del.icio.us. I have maybe 500 bookmarks, whatever the number, it's a bunch. And to use this site effectively I would have to go through all of these choosing which to share or delete. I tired of this quickly.

So I moved onto a list of "Do Follow Bookmarking Sites." The two I visited both wanted me to download a tool bar. Since I already have lots of those adding a new one was out of the question. I must admit that I am skeptical about what my return on investment from these sites. As many already know social media visitors don't convert well.

Since our websites provide B2B services I question if this group can benefit our bottom line. However, we have recently begun a marketing program based on Social Media sites. Traffic has quadrupled over the last three weeks. However, none of that traffic has generated one new sales inquiry and we ask for the sale on every page.

It's not total negative experience. We have gained a 500 or so links. So after three weeks we would grade our experience this way. We would give social media sites an A for driving traffic, an A for acquiring new links, and an F for generating leads or sales. So while I might not create much direct cash flow. There may be an indirect benefits if these links push the website higher in the search rankings.

Yes it is i've been using it too

 

I get traffic from Search engines. SEO gets you there.

 

i like this idea, i think it brings alot of traffic

 

But you willl need lots and lots of time and hardwork

 

Lately I focus on addressing insecurities in general. Ask yourself why does someone not feel confident in buying your product. Then address that why and you can convert a lot more customers. For example, in dating sites, some men think they would not be able to compete against "good looking" men. Address that issue and you will get more sign ups... Damn, I should probably shut up.

PPC need a lot of money to invest but give you instance result.
SEO need time to do and waitingggggg for the result but save your money

Like I said early, not all traffic is equal. We have found our B2B sites benefit from organic search traffic... not so much from social media.
