I've heard a lot people argue that golf isn't a sport because it's too boring. I happen to disagree. The only "sport" that I can think of that shouldn't be called a "sport" would have to be competitive eating, I just think that's crazy.
Of course, there's the old joke that says..."If you can hold a lit cigarette in your mouth while doing it, it's not a sport."
The lowest I would go in terms of declaring something a sport is "Competitive Video Gaming." Anything lower on the food chain is not a sport...
NASCAR AND WWE/WWF WRESTLING. How athletic do you have to be to make a bunch of left turns... and wrestling, its staged. I would consider it acting, not a sport. And when they announce it, they call them the worlds greatest athletes.... bunch of crap
Anything that involves a single person throwing anything is not a sport or shouldnt be. eg Javilin, Discus, Hammer, Shotput - Sorry but being overweight and able to throw something heavy in a forward direction should never be classed as athletes.
For me, anything that does not involve physical exertion should never be called a sport and hence chess and to some extent Golf is not a sport in my books! Regards, RightMan
golf doesnt count same with chess but nascar is a sport due to adrenaline and lots of good reflexes and im not from the south btw
For me anything that does not involve some physical strain on us shouldnt be considered as sports...Like chess which doesnt involve physical stress it should be excluded
According to me WWE i.e. ( World Wrestling Entertainment ) should not be considered sport. Because it is just match fixing and useless show off.
I'm going to have to say i don't believe golf is a real sport. Not because its too boring, but because there isn't any activity.
There is no question whether you like golf or not.. .No concern from ur personal interest. Ques - What "Sports" shouldn't be considered a sport?
Im still surprised curling is a sport in the winter olympics.... But I respect it of course Also... Nascar... not too sure about that one....... and I respect that as well, but all it is is driving around in circles
