Hello DP fellows, I wonder what source of photos or illustrations you use when creating websites, logos etc. I am looking for some good and free or unexpensive illustration works and photos that are applicaple also for commercial use. Can someone help?
Yes, thnx, I gave it a try, but the images are not really free to use. Here is quote from the standard image restriction: You may not use the Image * ........ * As part of a trademark, service mark or logo. * SELLING AND REDISTRIBUTION OF THE IMAGE (INDIVIDUALLY OR ALONG WITH OTHER IMAGES) IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN! DO NOT SHARE THE IMAGE WITH OTHERS! So probably I should start to make vectors myself, but it seems too much effort for a logo that people sell over here from $4.99 to $30.

I use inexpensive stock photos like those at Photo Wizard http://www.photo-wizard.net Here is where you can find some other inexpensive stock photo directories: http://www.small-business-software.net/stock-photography.htm Another site list can be found here: http://www.webmaster-elements.com/webmaster-graphics/photos.htm HTH
To MayaLocke: thanx for submitting this sites. I will browse through soon, seems interesting for the first sight. To Pat: I would like to see your work. You will find PM from me.
When I have to use images in my websites I buy them from istockphoto.com and fotolia.com only $1 per image
glitto, Ive already checked istockphoto, but those cant be used for logos upon standard license. Fotolia seems not to have such restriction, but they state: "You need to write the copyright provided by Fotolia for all your uses" How do I write copyright into a logo - kinda dont get this.... And you are probably using it only when creating websites not logos - am I right?
