Seems like everyone is selling their software to create an ebook with. What do you use?
Tell me as much about it as you can please.
I am looking for a program that can create a ebook with images, links, bookmarks, and can create a cover front that looks like a book.
Oh, please tell me cost you paid as well please :)

I'm using Microsoft Word to write an ebook and convert it into PDF using Adobe Acrobat.

To design ebook cover, you can use http://www.coveractionpro.com. But you need a Photoshop to run the action script.

I type them out with Word, use GIMP for the images, insert them, format it, and then use pdf995 to convert it to a PDF.

OpenOffice is my favorite. It has a lot of cool features and I think it's much better than Microsoft Word for creating ebooks. It's a free download, and is open source. Check it out.
