What software do you use to make ebook in .pdf format?

    Yeah, the tittle say it all.

    For all this while I am using eWriter pro and now I can't stand it anymore.
    It not stable as a mature software.

    I am using MS Office 2007 and I have to save as .doc from .docx before importing it to eWriter pro.

    When the document was in eWriter pro, its layout become "break" and not the same as what I've adjust in MS words. :(

    i made an ebook in google docs. its pretty simple actually you can save directly to pdf. but it doesnt have that many great features, the spacing sort of came out messed up in it

    you can use Open Office, its free and best alternative to MS office :p

    I use Google Docs. It's pretty easy and it works without a hitch but best of all, its FREE

    If you have installed both MS office 2006 and adobe acrobat professional at the same time,
    you can easily save the file as pdf documents .
    A second way is using "pdf factory" which enable MS word to save as pdf document .

    I write with MS office and use the official plug in to save as pdf.

    Open Office does the job, or on a Mac Neo Office is the same thing but designed for OS X
