What Software Do I Need to Make Videos With My WebCam?

I want to start making videos for marketing certain things and was curious as to what software is out there for making videos with your basic webcam?

Camtasia is what I use. Also if you are only using a webcam and don't need any screen shots or other items like power point presentations then you can just use the software that comes with the web cam. Personally I like the Logitec Quickcam Pro 9000. It works good and the cost is around a hundred bucks

You can also use Vlog it (you need to search for it on the Adobe store but it can be bought for about 37 quid and downloaded immediately) if you want to make 'face to webcam' video blog things. Its not great in that you cant edit it too much but it comes with teleprompter and enough basic things to get you going. You can edit it in windows movie maker too i think - ive got it but havent done much with it yet.

 

Yes, Sony Vegas or even Movie Maker can do it easily.

 

Depends on what you want to do with the webcam. I suggest using the software quoted above. Many of the people on our system use those packages.
