I mean I like subjects on dating/relationship advice and I created a blog so I can say learn how to pick up girls better or improve my current relationship. So I just use other peoples articles and I happen to rank for a few phrases just buying do that.... I'm sure as I learn more I will write my own content, but while I'm learning is this such a bad way to start generating income from adsense?

Just make sure you have the author's permission (from an article submission site or whatever), give the author credit, and leave links intact.

Many get their start this way and supplement their articles they write with additional content in this way. Always best to write your own content when you can though.

As far as I know Google does not involve itself in disputes over content. However, if you are just copying material from other websites without permission, you risk having your ISP close you down due to complaints over copyright violation.
Make sure you are using material that you have a right to use and use it in accordance with the manner demanded. This may include maintaining live links to the author's site.
You know the solution to the problam and will get there soon enough. Create your own content and then deal with people scalping your work to build their competing sites.

You are right about this. It is best to get your supplemental articles from sites that offer free content such as ezinearticles.com or others. Make sure to follow their rules and those of the authors when using content from these sites.
