what site??

hey guys, i was just wondering, what type of site will generate a lot hits and get me a lot of visitors??
i've heard search engines are the top ranke dones??
because i want to make a site but i dont know what to base it on

 

make a web directory, and start making money from the day one!

it's a website that is used by people in schools, or at work where they have filters that block certain websites. Proxy's allow you to bypass the filters.

 

Yeah. Lots of proxies make money from sites which use google adsense. Because some proxies replace there adsense with their own or so I've read.

 

hey guys, thnx alot for the replys, i currently own a proxy site( fixnt.com ) and i was thinking of making a image host site.
you think a image host site will get big??

 

image host site would be going big if you could advertise to the right folk. and somehow you already have your proxy, it could be a good combination.

and for the script, you have better choose one with proper scripting otherwise you may get hacked. I actually have a script for you to download too at http://www.photocactus.com/simpl.php . take a look at it.

 

thnx toby for the reply and thnx for the script, i allready have coded a script, and the script automaticly converts all uploaded images to jpeg, so hacking isnt really possible, and i am adding many features that other image hosts dont, and advertising it will be no problem, since one of the features my script has is sharing the image or digging the image on big sites so that it generates more traffic.
but i was thinking, should i add a watermark feature?? or will that bother people?

start reading shane...then get a program such as frontpage (good for beginners) or dreamweaver and start experimenting...at the least, you will need a host and a domain name...a cheap way to start might be by trying a blog first...you can get some of them for free.

 

I'd like to try my hand at a directory after I've finished with my first website. Any guides, or anything to look at?

Proxies get detected really easily...Now a days with all the trackers they have..I would rather just buy a product and use it and it change my ip for me that is an IP SCARMBEER

 

When you find the answer for this little tidbit of information can you please yell it from the tallest building. We all would like to know the answer.
