Ok so you need to have good optimized text for search engines to love your site. Is it better to put all text in one index.html page, or is it better to have many smaller html pages instead. For example whats better when you have site about cars- put all descriptions in index file and have really text heavy page, or make them separate eg honda.html, bmw.html...
Reason im asking is that im wondering - since all incomming links to my site goes to index page, won't other html pages be left unnoticed by search engines
just spread your content in a natural way. internal linking plays an important role in SEO. google likes information heavy websites (this doesn't mean that you have to put everything on one page). also think from the visitors perspective. everything on one page? c'mon. read this: http://www.seobook.com/archives/001919.shtml
Lighe´s right. It´s all about theming. It help the SEs to realize what your page is about. Do you think that if you had a page 75 meters long providing all infos from A to Z, it would rank equally for G, M and Q?
