what shud b outgoing link ratio?

    Can any1 help me with this problem?? what should be outgoing link ratio??? i guess i have 14% i checked in Urltrends.com
    Can anyone comment on this? plz

    Who says "outgoing link ratio" is a concept that a search engine considers?

    I would forget made up ideas like these and just link to whom it makes sense.

    I would have to agree...Worry more about how too many links affect conversions or WHO you are linking to then what the percentage of outgoing links are.

    I have seen sites with 5% that I think are detrimental while other sites have over 50% and it adds to user experience. I don't think Googles algo is as simple as:

    <25% Good
    >25% Bad
