    Lets break it down.

What tasks would you expect out of a SEO consultant/company for the following prices to provide services ONLY for companies that are targeting a 30 mile radius or less?

    $50
    $100
    $250
    $500
    $1000+

Please provide in depth answers per price, ex: building pr3+ links if so how many per month, social bookmarking how many per month, how many keyword phrases to target etc etc etc......go into as much details as possible.

    Thanks!

In the SEO business, you get what you pay for. For any given service, there will be a wide range of prices. In the lower end, most of those people do very poor work. They often take short cuts with automated software or they employ low-skilled low-pay workers. There isn't really a set amount of work that you would expect for a given price. If you're lucky you can find a reliable low priced link builder, but usually you have to pay more for better results.

PROOF. If you are looking to sell SEO Services or looking to BUY a PROVEN portfolio of what you can do or what a company can do for you is what really matters.

People buying ranking want ranking, their is no need to complicate things by offering a menu of services. You show what you can do, you explain how long it takes, and you set your fees.

there is no set price for SEO job. low skilled noobs from developing countries (just as a comparison. good SEO people are everywhere) will charge lot less than skilled and experienced SEO from developed countries. i c so called SEO people posting on the forums all the time asking for help on their cleint projects. if you are that good, then you make your own price and people will still buy your service
