Hello all, I have several websites under my belt, but I have the habit of choosing to make sites need tons of traffic to make pennies off of advertising. Thus far, all my sites promote free services (free blog hosting, image hosting, etc.) but the server costs are high and income is low. I was thinking about getting into some kind of affiliate marketing, maybe selling and ebook or really anything that will produce $50/day consistently after a months hard work. I guess I am asking what direction I should go in next. Where is the money at? I have the knowledge and skills to hold my own in the internet world, but I'm having trouble deciding what to get into next. There are so many possibilities, but I don't want to end up picking the option where I end up putting in hundreds of hours, only to see mere pennies in return. Also strategies for starting and becoming successful in areas you consider worthwhile (or links to some reading material) would be greatly appreciated Thanks a bunch!
When in doubt, choose a subject that your heart is in. Money can be made in almost any area - some quite surprising I might add. If your heart is in it, it will be much easier to develop and maintain.
i agree with willybfriendly. money can be made with any site but the site which has good content and well maintained. and this will only happen then when you have interest in the topic. so make a site on the topic which you understand well and can rite about it easily.
Maybe you can offer premium paid service in addition to free one to increase your income, you can also sell banners on your sites.
