I am finding myself stuck on what to write about in my MMA blog. I have been doing a lot of news recently and it gets a hundred or so views per post. I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of blog posts get the high number of viewers. Or if anyone can give me some ideas to write about. So far my most popular post was this one A preview to an upcoming event. I got lucky with it and got #1 in google for so many terms related to it. It had just over 3,800 views in the first day which I thought was decent.
great! ..just post anything with Obama or McCain in it and you will get more views.. if this does not work then try your biography..
Study the mindscape of your readers. What are their aspirations? What are their insecurities? Determine levels of needs and write provocative content that keeps them wanting more.
Why don't you ask your readers what they want you to write about? Run a poll to give you some ideas, or look at what topics people are searching for on your blog to give you some ideas about what to write about.
Yeah your readers are who are going to be reading it anyways so a poll could help. With that many readers you could also get a decent number of suggestions if you asked.
