I think centOS is the best thing for a server.

I like redhat. There's plenty of support available online. Here's one such thread titled "How do I set up a RedHat webserver?"

centos is easiest, apparently debian is most secure. but a good host owner could secure windows 95 so how good are you?

Fedora is quite good for begginers and advanced users. I've got two servers running on FC and can't complain.

FreeBSD if you don't want to be confused about distro. Also BSD is known for it's excellent security. FreeBSD has excellent help at sites like freebsdforums.com and the official BSD site has a solid handbook as well. Linux is so forked it's fucked.

Haha, good troll, but I'm not biting - I'm sure no-one believes your bullshit anyway.

Personally I'd go with Debian, but the real answer is probably whatever your sysadmin is most comfortable with. Running a hosting server isn't a task for those new to Linux, and anyone you employ is likely to have a favourite distro.
