What should I so with my domain - www.Blog-USA.com

Hi DP,

I respect everybody's opinion here, so would like to hear what you think I should do with this domain. I would like to use it to make as much money as possible - and then will pass it off to one of my kids to work.

Any ideas for making the most money with this great domain?

I will pay somebody to develop it for me, if need be.

I would say a service for people that blog. There's a whole lot of blogs out there, everyone these days has one.
So if you were to start a blog, even with a great domain name, its tough competion.
Give me a while to think of something.........

 

I like the idea of a "service" for bloggers, thank you for the suggestions - keep 'em up!

I would agree with rooothy,

Here are my suggestion:
1. you can try doing a blog hosting if you want, but this will require more server resources
2. you can also do a big forum helping people about their blogging difficulties, post ideas on how to make money with blogs... (as NinjaWork mentioned)
3. just create your own blog and start posting helpful stuffs about blogging
4. make an informational site or a blog directory site that are USA based (I guess)

Start a website domain registry where you can domain owners can register their domain and name beneficiaries to their domains.

As probably most of us will have a smaller empire to pass down, imagine your children/heirs inheriting a 50 year old domain name. That should help them with their rankings... what more would they want? Something that is hard to duplicate with money 50 years from now.

 

You could blog about Lee Greenwood.

I myself thing the blogging forum sounds like a good idea.

Maybe you could make it a blog directory site.

 

Set up a scraper script and steal blogs content about the USA... no only kidding.

Set up Wordpress MU and give people blogs who want a USA theme.

 

I like the forum idea. You can basically make your site the "digital point" of blogging

 

a forum would be good. but very tough to start.

 

There are many way to monetize it for example,you can setup a blog platform that utilizing wordpress engine.And you let user create their blog under your sub domain.And you should only allow USA people sign up only coz this is specialize designed to suit USA people blogging needs.

 

I think a blogging resource site would be great, or perhaps a directory of USA blogs.
