What should I pay for copywriting?

I have a few projects in the works, and was wondering what SALES page copywriting goes for. I usually write my own copy, but I need some fresh input. Can anyone tell me what I can expect to pay for one webpage of sales copy.

    Thanks

I write for a couple magazines, and they pay .40 a word. You could probably find someone for less on rent a coder, but IMO I would rather have someone who I know will write original content in PERFECT English.

Sales pages and magazines are quite different. A sales page from a reputable copywriter whose copy can actually bring significant results financially will cost at least several thousand dollars. Of course, everyone and their brother will call themselves a copywriter online when they're really just a generic "content writer" (big difference). So be careful, and actually find someone with specific sales page experience and provable conversion results.

I recommend Jason (MarketJunction) if he's willing to take on a new project and you are willing to pay for his expertise. LOL

If you want sales copy that actually converts you are going to have to pay for it.

The price will depend on what elements you want written.

    # Sales page
    # Order page
    # Opt in page
    # Emails
    # Affiliate emails
    # Afilliate offer page
    # One time offer backend upsell sales page
    # One time offer backend downsell page
    # Exit optin page (yes you can use a script that will have a page appear when your prospects exit without buying)

As a guideline for a piece of online sales copy that sells expect to pay US$2,500 to $10,000.

    Kindest regards,

It would depend on the target market of the sales page and the track record of the provider.
