What should I pay for an authored Wiki?

    Greetings,

I need your help guys and gals!

I see there are quite a few people here who know what they are talking about, so there is no one our there best suited to help me shape the strategy. I might soon need to hire someone who is proficient in the web hosting industry (both generally and technically) to write a massive Wiki.

    QUESTIONS:
    1. How is writing a Wiki different from writing a regular article?
    2. Do I hire one dedicated writer or multiple writers?
    3. What should I expect to pay? With a budget of $500-600 - what number of words/articles should I expect for good quality work?
    4. Could they use/rewrite parts of Wikipedia material?
    5. How can I check the validity/uniqueness of material?
    6. Can you recommend someone who is known for quality work around DP?

I have been really struggling with the decision, so I rely on someone making it more clear for me.

    Best,

So nobody even has slight ideas or advice?

I should probably mention that altogether I am looking for probably 20,000-30,000 word material (Wiki) to start with. Will it guarantee lower rate per word?

Also, how does one use Wikipedia, or protect himself from writers using other sources?

So Artashes, what are you planning to do is to write another online enciclopedia like wikipedia?
Sorry if i got it wrong.
There was a tool that was checking the uniqueness of an article i don t remember the exact name, but there is for sure.
My opinion is that if you are planning to write an enciclopedia you should hire at least 5-6 different writers in different domains: like science, humanities, art...
Anyway good luck anf keep us updated with your project.

nickflame, I only want to focus on the web hosting market, and create an extensive Wiki for this.
