What should I make my next site about?

Here are some of my interests:
Music
Video Games
Sports
Wrestling

I simply cannot think of a good site to make! Any suggestions?

 

I'd suggest working on your web-design skills before moving onto another project.

Due to your interests, I suggest you make a website about one of the following things:

Sports because its the highest paying niche between your interests.

 

go with wrestling...it has a huge following.

 

Either Sports or Wrestling. Too many music/video game sites already, and the PPC isn't that great with Adsense.

 

all your interests are already taken by someone else. why don't you rethink of something new?

 

Trust me, if I had any good ideas I would certainly keep them to myself. Theres so much you can do but so little time....

 

I mean how should I make the site. I still am shocked as to how big blogs have become. Who cares what some random guy thinks about a certain topic?

 

I thought Wrestleing was a sport in america??

 

It is, but there is also pro wrestling, which is not real.

 

why not make a sports blog, and work on it real hard. but then you should only start a site in which you are interested in, else you won't find sufficient content for it.

 

Make a site for a keyword which has a reasonable amount of people searching for it, and a keyword which you can handle.............

 

A sports news site would be cool. A video games site won't be bad either.

 

I have a suggestion, Twan - whatever it is you decide upon, keep it to yourself and don't even breathe a word of it until you are up, running and happy with it.

Maybe you should seek out some new interests? Or, has already been suggested, write a Sports blog, perhaps using www.withleather.com as a source of inspiration on the direction to follow?

 

The point is, at this point it doesn't matter what you write about. You should just focus on making sites on whatever pops in your head and focus on the design aspect of making web-sites.

If your goal is to be a writer then I suppose design doesn't really matter too much. But if your goal is to be a webmaster (or whatever) then your focus should be figuring out how to make good looking sites.

I have no shortage of web-sites about whatever I was interested in at the time and they all look very different and use different concepts in the design. My goal was always to make the next site better designed regardless of the topic.

 

The sites in my signature aren't mine...

Anyways, I've decided to make a Wii site...game profiles, reviews, previews, shop, maybe even forums. Not sure yet.

 

Make a site about tangerines that feel inferior to oranges and want to be them.

 

Yeah and how they take out their anger on the more inferior clemintines.

As for the Wii site, I may be interested let me know if you want any help with that.
