Copper - Hahaha To the OP, I agree with usearchme. If you're going to create a forum that you are going to actively participate in, you need to at least be interested in it. If you aren't interested in it, then you aren't going to have any motivation to participate in discussions, and if you are trying to make money from the forum (and why wouldn't you be), then you won't have the motivation to actively market and promote the forum enough to generate quality income. My suggestion - figure out what you love to do (hobbies, interests, activities, etc.) and start a forum about that. If you are interested enough in it to actively participate in it, then you can make some great money if you can think of some great ways to monetize and market it! C.A. ContentConcepts
I suspect this is why blogs leapfrogged forums - it's much easier to build a general blog, a forum depends on its membership. Why do you want to make a forum? What's your motivation, exactly?

A forum is one of the most intensive online projects that you can partake in. If you really want to succeed you will need to make your forum about something you love. It is really easy to get burnt out on a forum that you create for any other reason besides enjoyment.
theres hundreds and thousands of lost forums out there, and lost only has one more year left to run, i dont reccomend you make a site that is going to probobally die after a year, however its your choice, best of luck
well, my advice is first to spend time in research what kind of forums exists in your area and if they are not too much setup yours
Sounds great, I will defiantly join but there are many forum online which have been up since series one (5 years old) which you will have to compete with. But apparently season 6 will reveal all the secrets of lost so you can relate the forum to that. Hope this helps, best wishes regards.
