    What should I know for Facebook App/Game development? What languages of code should I know, I'd like to make a basic calender app first and then move up to a basic blackjack card game in Facebook applications. I am new to all code but HTML and some Java...

    You have to know about Facebook API. Because with the API you application can build communication with Facebook.
    Then if you are going to develop game, my suggestion is to use C or Java. You can use PHP if you develop calender.
    Ajax, Flash are recommended.
