you dont require to use a "nofollow" tag for your internal links.. You could use that for the links that you are giving to other website from your website.

I do not think that google will ban you.
In fact they do not read Nofollow...
So what is the purpose for doing so. It is generally not welcome thing.
If you wish ... you can use it for the outbound links that you are giving to others. But here your page will be indexed but no the receiving sites'.....

the nofollow tag is a dangerous tool. back when i started out, i accidentally nofollowed links from my deeper pages back to my index page, then wondered why the hell my homepage kept dropping in rankings...oops.

well, the no follow link idea seems to be inviting quite a bit critique and after i read somewhere on this i got the impression that its a wonderful thing to do. the good part of the story is that i did not implement the idea.

I think your on drugs and you have no place having a SEO site in your signature. You have no clue what your talking about.

Perhaps you should read these two articles before speaking:

    SEOmoz: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/questions-answers-with-googles-spam-guru

    SEO fast start: http://www.seofaststart.com/blog/internal-nofollow-help

Now let's get to the point. I do plan to use no-follow internally to cut of from the juice some of the pages of a site. What do i have in mind? pages that don't really count, like Contact, T&C, Disclaimer etc. And also the search pages. As i don't even want these pages to get indexed and i rule them out from robots.txt, i believe there's no point in giving any link juice to them. Am i right?

I do have a question though. If these pages aren't indexed by Google anyway, would they still get the link juice if i wasn't using nofollow? I might say No, but i'm looking for other opinions too.

    10x. Mike
