if you want to go dynamic, learn some php, grab some php books, look online for php ebooks, sit in barns and noble for a few hours ;)

    php is cool

but web design today isn not the same as it was 5 years ago. 5 years ago html and some CSS could make a great site. now adays (dont get me wrong) but times are changing and the demand for "cooler" things are in need.

thats great you want to go dynamic. php is a good start
you can also learn alittle ajax to make it even more dynamic.
a well rounded web designer should start to think about learning these.
PHP AJAX CSS HTML can get you a great good looking dynamic site.

    Hope this helps,
    -Tim
