I have had Adsense for about 5 months now but don't pay attention to it. I don't even have visitors on my blog any more. I have accumulated $35 of the $100 needed to get the payout, what should I do?

Well I didn't even update it or anything. Do you think I should try to get the other $65 to cash out or just leave it?

Totaly depends on you.. If you are not serious about your blog, you can start another website and use your adsense over there... if you dont want to continue with adsense then you dont have any other option. dump those $35

Unless you want to give up and forget about generating revenue with Adsense (and lose whatever you have accumulated so far) you have no option other than to continue driving traffic to your blog. Once you have received your $100, I guess you can just give up if that's what you really want to do.

Unfortunately, with that attitude, it seems you are not interested in webmastering.

There is huge variety of blogging software (and themes!) available so coding isn't necessarily a requirement. You can setup a blog via Blogger in minutes with relatively no prior knowledge so I fail to see what the problem is.

In my opinion you don't have the right mindset or attitude and are coming across lazy. Find something which interests you and that you enjoy doing, as this clearly doesn't float your boat.

I got a blog with blogger and can do some coding on that but I'd rather own a website or a hosted blog...

Well perhaps you should conduct some research? Learn what is involved?

I am a developer myself but I believe that you don't have to be one to earn from google adsense. There are non-developers out there who are earning more than I am earning now ;)
