Hello guys, i need your suggestions, one of my client site was ranked well(1st page) in Google.com and Google.co.uk www.faboccasion.com/home.php in September he has changed the server and the site was disappear from the search results, after 1 week it has showing visible but the page www.faboccasion.com/home.php has not cached. i am promoting the same url with home.php. Please help october is the deadline for me. Thanks in advance.
well changing the host should not of been the cause of your rank drop. its probably something else you used prior to that. maybe some not very good seo teniques or something . but changing the host is definitely not the cause. if you change pages name - and pages url yea that would effect you but not the host.
I would be very surprised if you loose your ranking or if your site gets even deleted from the index due to a change of your hosting provider??? Here are my guesses: Might be a temporary glitch and the site will be back within a few days or a week. You did something really bad (black hat seo) and you got penalized Page names or page extensions changed (for example: from .html to .php) - that way, your backlinks no longer point to the right destination - do a 301 redirect in your .htaccess file
