I recently purchased 4 domains, all of which are kindof related to each other. I figure on putting a directory on at least two, if not all 4. There is a 5th, but I will be using it for something else eventually. Anyway, I have link2here.com linktohere.com link2there.com and linktothere.com ... What should I do? Should I have one of each of them forward to the other for each phrase, or should I slowly put 4 directories on them all? Also, what was the other script that is a competitor to phpld? The one with deeplinks by default...I can't remember.
Have you considered building just one directory? That way you could apply all of the time and energy spent building/running 4 directories and apply it to one well built, well maintained, and well optimized directory.
In that case...I would say good luck w/your directories. Just out of curiousity - how is it that a person can keep up w/5 directories? Will they all be free? Oh, and to answer your question, I would use the domains with "2" in them. Easier to remember. I believe phplynx is the script you're looking for but I'm not sure.
www.linktohere.com and www.linktothere.com would be a good idea to have directories in them. Maybe you can start directories on both and after developing them for some time, sell one of them in order to focus on the other. That would be a good idea. The domains with "2" in them do not have much value as a directory IMO.
I could have those others redirect...or I could eBay them...unless anybody else has some ideas, too.... I can keep up with stuff like this, as a college student...even with pay dirs, it isn't that hard to keep track. Yeah, phplynx...that's it. Thanks!
Start Directories on all of them because all are link related, work hard on all of them simultaneously and sold 2 of them after pr update and invest that money on remaining 2 and make them pr7. you like this idea?
